Survey on Plagiarism Challenges

This paper describes the current state of plagiarism detection and the challenges that arise in modern society and are caused by plagiarism. There are several significant aspects that were highlighted: technological aspects caused by recent developments of modern NLP tools, social aspects caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, development of new content similarity detection methods, etc. All of them add new aspects to plagiarism challenges. © 2022 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
